Photography has become a fascinating hobby to take up because of the many interesting subjects that create a collective culture that is worth capturing. One of the most captivating to the mind is natural attractions. Frank Enrico Andreoli of Montreal shares some of the natural attractions from his hometown.

1. Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park

It’s rare enough to find a centuries-old forest in this day and age. It becomes even more special if it is made up of a huge mass of black maple trees. Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park has become a home to a diversified ecosystem. With wildflowers growing freely all over the forest floor, this invites a whole assortment of colorful insects and birds, which will surely keep photographers busy all day.

2. Mount Royal Park

Mount Royal Park is the main structure in one of the largest green spaces in Montreal. Frank Enrico Andreoli from Montreal mentions that the park was actually designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the same individual who is credited for designing New York’s Central Park. Mount Royal Park was purposely designed to emphasize the surrounding mountainous topography. This has made it the subject of many award-winning photographs.

The park contains 20,000 trees, surrounded by winding paths that make hiking a very interesting activity that makes time fly fast. Its pond is laden with cattails and wandering fish. Visitors can even feed the chickadees who frequent this natural habitat.
