If you’ve ever been to Montreal, then taking pictures of the majestic animals that live in the city is not a hard thing to do. However if you want to experience taking a shot at animals that pose and are photogenic, then the zoos at the city will surely be to your taste. From penguins to bears, here are some zoos that Frank Enrico Andreoli recommends for the photographer in you!

The Montreal Biodome
The Montreal Biodome, or Biodome for short, is arguably the most well-known zoo in Montreal. The indoor zoo houses 4 sections each replicating a certain climate and holds different flora and fauna in each. With its 4500 different animals, Canbec is sure that you’ll never be out of subjects to take a shot at. From the tigers in the rainforest to the seals of the Antarctic, the zoo has it all. Even more, the zoo also houses endangered species and it could be an opportunity of a lifetime to take a picture of. The Biodome is also near the biggest nature park in the city, which is also great for taking pictures in.

Ecomuseum
If you’re more of an outgoing person and like the great outdoors, then you’re sure to enjoy Ecomuseum, the only outdoor museum in all of Montreal. Located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, the museum also houses about 1000 animals from barn owls to creepy crawlies. If you like reptiles and slimy creatures, the indoor section is where to go. This kid-friendly zoo will surely be to your liking and taking pictures of the simple animals to the majestic beasts out in the sun will be a great addition to your portfolio.
